What Your Nails Reflect
Sometimes, it’s easy to look at your nails and think the issue starts there.
Dryness.
Slower growth.
Brittleness that seems to come out of nowhere.
So the first instinct is usually external—change the polish, add a treatment, try something new.
But sometimes, nails are reflecting something bigger.
Not always a major health issue.
Often, just the quieter patterns of everyday life.
Stress can show up here.
So can dehydration.
Skipped meals. Poor sleep. Constant rushing. Long stretches of doing the bare minimum for yourself.
Nails don’t demand attention the way other things do, which is why changes can go unnoticed until they become repetitive.
And that’s what makes them different.
They can quietly mirror how supported—or unsupported—your routine has been lately.
Not perfectly. Not scientifically in every case.
But often enough to notice.
Sometimes, healthier nails don’t begin with another product.
They begin with more water.
More consistency.
More nourishment.
A little less running on empty.
Because nails are often growing through the same environment you are.
And sometimes, when they start looking off, it’s worth asking whether you’ve been feeling a little off too.
